Travel

By air to Poland

To get to Poland, we recommend taking a plane to Warsaw. The Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) connects with most big European airports and offers many intercontinental flights.

Alternatively, one may take a flight to regional airports which offer only a limited number of regular connections:
Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI), 50 km north of Warsaw, where Ryanair offers numerous connections.
Lublin Airport (LUZ) is only 10 km east of Lublin. It offers flights to Warsaw (WAW), Gdansk (GDN), London (LTN), Dublin (DUB), Rome (FCO), Barcelona (GRO), and Milan (BGY).
Kraków Airport (KRA) offers many international connections.

  • A taxi costs around 50 PLN (~10 EUR). Omit taxi drivers inviting to a taxi INSIDE the arrivals hall! Take an official taxi IN FRONT OF the arrivals hall. One may also call Uber, Bolt, or FreeNow a taxi through the mobile app.

Depending on the chosen transport and traffic, it takes around 30 minutes to reach Warszawa Centralna. Warszawa Wschodnia is only accessible by train, which takes around 35 minutes.
