Direct searches for Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs) require accurate nuclear structure inputs to reliably interpret experimental data. We present a self-consistent framework based on Skyrme Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov theory to compute the nuclear form factors entering WIMP–nucleus scattering. The approach provides all relevant spin-independent and spin-dependent responses within a...

This presentation highlights recent theoretical investigations on the octupole and hexadecapole correlations, and related collective excitations in medium-heavy and heavy nuclei in the interacting boson model that is based on the microscopic nuclear density functional theory. Octupole correlations are shown to play an important role in predicting low-energy collective states and the relevant...

Calculations aimed at reproducing the rotational level patterns in the $^{220}$Rn nucleus were carried out using a collective quadrupole-octupole approach with a microscopic mass tensor and moments of inertia dependent on the deformation and pairing degrees of freedom. The main objective, however, is to quantitatively confirm known experimental facts, according to which the Rn nucleus...

Prompt and delayed gamma ray spectroscopy of nuclear reactions inducing fission can reveal a wealth of important information. Gamma ray spectroscopy of the de-exciting fragments after fission occurs not only allows study of the nuclear structure of neutron-rich nuclei, but also provides essential information on the fission process itself [1][2]. Conversely, study of delayed gamma emission can...

Femtoscopy, the technique of extracting space-time information of particle-emitting sources at femtometer scales via two-particle momentum correlations, has become a cornerstone tool in heavy-ion collision physics. This talk will introduce the basic concept of intensity interferometry, the formalism of the correlation function, and the Lednický-Lyuboshitz analytical model that bridges...

Gamow–Teller resonance and double-beta decay of 48Ca are studied within TDA and STDA using realistic chiral interactions. A consistent description of the resonance is achieved, and isospin symmetry is restored. Two-particle–two-hole correlations are shown to impact nuclear matrix elements and contribute to the quenching of gA.

This study details the experimental investigation of $^{208}$Pb nuclei excitation through the inelastic scattering of a 155 MeV proton beam. The measurements were carried out at the Cyclotron Centre Bronowice (CCB) IFJ PAN, utilizing a multi-detector setup designed to capture the complex decay patterns of the excited targets.

The experimental configuration comprised the KRATTA...
